【Scholarship】National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University Guidelines of Governing Clerkship and Internship Scholarships Granted to Students Studying Abroad(Deadline until 30 April 2026, 12:00)
Objective
National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (hereinafter “the University”) has established the Guidelines Governing Clerkship and Internship Scholarships Granted to Students Studying Abroad (hereinafter “the Guidelines”) to encourage students to pursue professional clerkship and internship opportunities at its partnering foreign companies, medical institutions, or other institutions, with the objective of cultivating talented students with both academic and practical experience and increasing their competitiveness in the labor market.


Application Details
A. Qualifications and eligibility for application:
Students refer to Taiwanese, foreign, and overseas Chinese students of the University (in-service students are not included).
An applicant must be a current student of the University and must have studied at the University for more than one semester. The applicant must maintain their student status during their application, clerkship or internship, and they are not allowed to drop out from the University during their clerkship or internship.

B. Internship period: 16th June 2026 until 30 November 2026. Students must finish the internship before 30 November 2026.

C. Subsidy terms:
An international round-trip (economy class) airfare
The actual amount of subsidy granted is capped at NT$300,000, and the actual number of students subsidized will be adjusted on the basis of the budget for a given year. A scholarship recipient will be awarded 80% of their scholarship upon the approval of their application, and the remaining 20% is ​paid after they have complete their internship and submitted their internship feedback report.
The clerkship or internship period may not be less than 90 days (including holidays but excluding the time taken for a round-trip flight).
A student may be awarded up to one clerkship/internship scholarship for each level of their education. During their clerkship or internship period, a student who has been awarded a scholarship may not receive other subsidies or scholarships offered by the Taiwanese government (they must relinquish or temporarily suspend their other scholarships/subsidies).

D. Application:
Applicant must write a proposal, attach relevant information, email, and submit it to the Office of International Affairs before the announced deadline. (Ms. Yolanda Liu, yolandaliu@nycu.edu.tw)
Relevant documents include Language Certificate(Within the validity period), NYCU Transcript and NYCU Enrollment Certificate.

E. Application Deadline: From now until April 30th, 2026, 12:00.
