Taiwan Digital Diplomacy Association (TDDA): Diplomacy and Leadership Workshop

The Taiwan Digital Diplomacy Association (TDDA), in partnership with the American Institute in Taiwan (AIT), is pleased to announce a new program designed to cultivate young diplomatic talent in Taiwan — the Diplomacy and Leadership Workshop.
This program offers a valuable opportunity for Taiwanese university students and young professionals to strengthen essential professional and leadership skills in preparation for their future careers. We warmly invite those with a strong interest in diplomacy and international affairs to apply.

Program Overview
The Diplomacy and Leadership Workshop is an intensive, practice-oriented program aimed at nurturing the next generation of global leaders. We are seeking highly motivated Taiwanese youth aged 18–35 who are passionate about diplomacy and international affairs to apply as core participants.
Through hands-on participation in diplomatic simulations, participants will develop key competencies, including:
  • Strategic thinking
  • Negotiation and consensus-building
  • Cross-cultural communication
  • Conflict resolution and crisis management
Core participants will attend three focused training sessions, learning how to professionally facilitate and moderate diplomatic simulations—just like real diplomats. In addition, participants will have the opportunity to engage in an interactive, face-to-face training session with AIT officers held at AIT.
Upon completion of the training sessions, core participants will work collaboratively to host a student-led diplomacy simulation, applying their newly acquired skills in diplomacy, negotiation, and crisis management.

Program Finale
The program will conclude with a closing ceremony hosted at the American Center, AIT. This prestigious event offers participants a unique opportunity to engage with AIT leadership, celebrate their achievements, and gain insight from senior diplomatic figures.
All participants who complete the program will receive a Certificate of Completion.
