1. Eligibility:
This scholarship is open to undergraduate students enrolled as international students in the following eligible departments at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU).
College of Electrical and Computer Engineering
Department of Electrical Engineering,
Department of Photonics,
Department of Semiconductor Engineering,
College of Engineering:
 Department of Mechanical Engineering,
Department of Materials Science and Engineering,
Department of Civil Engineering,
College of Science:
Department of Electrophysics
Department of Applied Mathematics.

2. Scholarship:
TSMC: NT$120,000 per year, up to a maximum of 4 years.
NYCU: Tuition reduction.
3. Scholarship Eligibility and Obligations:
-Language Proficiency: Applicants must provide proof of both:
English proficiency at CEFR B2 level or above.
TOCFL (Test of Chinese as a Foreign Language) at A2 level or above.
-Graduation Requirements: Before graduation, recipients must complete:
The Interdisciplinary Semiconductor Program (at least 10 courses, totaling 30 credits).
TOCFL Chinese proficiency test at B2 level.
Scholarship Renewal Conditions:
-Academic performance must meet NYCU’s scholarship renewal requirements each semester.
A required percentage of courses in the Interdisciplinary Semiconductor Program must be completed each year as per regulations. (The program courses are to be announced.)


4. Application Deadline:

5. Application Fee:
The application fee is NT$2,000 per department.
