Outside Scholarships
The Ministry of Education (MOE) provides scholarship opportunities for international students pursuing degrees in Taiwan.

How to apply
Submit an application and required documents directly to the Taiwan overseas representative office.

Scholarship Content                                                                                                        
Monthly Stipend
■ Undergraduate: NT$ 15,000
■ Graduate: NT$ 20,000

Tuition Grant
A maximum of NT$ 40,000 for each semester, the actual amount will be based on your basic tuition fee.

Scholarship duration
■ Undergraduate: 4 years
■ Master: 2 years
■ Ph.D.: 4 years

Important Notes
■ Scholarship recipients are required to complete the registration by making the tuition payments and must maintain the academic performance each semester to remain eligible for the scholarship.
■ Recipients will receive the scholarship on the 10th of each month, except for January and the start of each semester (September).

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) provides scholarship opportunities for students from countries that have diplomatic relations with Taiwan pursuing degrees in Taiwan.

How to apply
Submit an application and required documents directly to the Taiwan overseas representative office.

Academia Sinica offers TIGP (Taiwan International Graduate Program) scholarships to the admitted students of Taiwan International Graduate Program

How to apply
Apply along with the TIGP admission, and submit the required documents based on the Academic Sinica’s instruction.
