The competition aims to cultivate talent, strengthen industry-academia collaboration, and promote global knowledge exchange in net zero technologies while enhancing international impact.
With prize money of over USD 30,000 for the winning team, it encourages university faculty and students to engage in research and development in net zero and negative emission technologies.
By establishing a "Net Zero" platform and promoting knowledge dissemination, the contest facilitates technical interaction among industry, government, academia, and research sectors, fostering practical action.
